Monday, July 21, 2008 Im a coward.. big assed coward.. Sunday was mum's birthday and it started without much fuss...the usual murmurs of happy birthday after subuh and I got back to sleep!!haha Well, i got mum a Carlo Rino handbag plus a must-have card and put it in the living room.. Dad got her a ring, diamond...I think there is a bracelet as well but they like secretive about it so whatever..haha.. We went to Sakura International buffet for lunch...Its my firts time there and I love the ambience of the area leading to the entrance..There's a mosque close by, (tentera di-raja) and the day was blessed with a cool breeze...Upon entering Sakura, we got to the designated table and without further ado, started our rampage on the food! haha... Here comes the cowardly part..I walked near this thing, the smell overbearing, I tried to even touch it but I could not even bring myself to do it..Once again, SUSHI eluded me...I tried but I just wont go near it!! I wish to try it though to overcome my fear of SUSHI.hahaha.! Anyway, from Sakura, we left for Masjid Ahmad Sulaiman near pasir panjang..There were only 4 of us in that mosque!LOL.. It was then my lucky day cos my dad actually allowed me to drive in the helter-skelter of Johor Bahru...So much like a baptism of fire...It was truly a driving experience..There was heavy downpour accompanied with lightning and thunder, the drivers who cut in ur lane without their signals on, the huge lorry which came into my lane without me realising it..But luckily the whole family read 'doa naik kenderaan' before i started driving so we were saved from any mishaps..AlhamduliLLAH! And thus the day is saved by the Almighty...=)) *They may nag, they may shout and they may even sulk. But at the end of the day, u and me know that we need them the most..=)) |
