Trash It Out

Thursday, May 15, 2008

I am done and dusted for 2nite. The essay I am working on is killing me! hahax. Its on plagiarism and it sucks to do this topic because u basically cant plagiarise!! haha

ok, i've been bloghopping, blogjumping and blogreading and i notice many wishing Mother's day exactly on the 11th of May. Its great to see all out there appreaciating what mothers have done for us but im curious, just curious...Do we do it just because its Mother's Day? Do we just do it for the sake of doing it?Or do we just do it because everyone does it??

Mothers are there everyday for us whether physically, mentally or emotionally. their prayers (regardless what faith u are) are always encircling us day and night. And a mother's prayers are usually simple. "keep my child safe"

I would like to draw u readers to the latest earthquake that hit CHINA. The amount of kids dead is increasing and the real sorrow lies with the MOTHER. The emotional upheavel she has to go thru only GOD knows.

We can never feel how our moms struggled to carry us for nine long months wothout flinching. They were even proud to show off that buldge!! As if they were telling the people out there, hey look, this is my child!!
Yet we are always shy to hold our mum's hand tightly as we walk to the diner for dinner or as we cross the road with her.

Our mum's teach us patiently how to walk. Gently lifting us up when we take a tumble. Holding our hands to steady ourselves and then letting us take our small steps to our destinations. All this was done without the slightest sighing. And yet when we grow up, waiting for our mum who takes slow steps can be annoying.

Our mum's take time to teach us the fundamentals of life, like how to talk and eat and drink from a cup. And yet when we become a sucess story, we say its down to our hard work and we rarely give credit to our first ever TEACHER, our mum.....

With that, i would like to ask, should Mother's Day only be on the 11th of May or should it be an everyday thing? We need not shower our mum's with expensive present but it should be with unconditional love that they would really look forward too...A simple hug before leaving for school would be a good start...

Alrite...Been quite awhile eversince i even sat in front of a comp/lappy. Home desktop went KAPUT...So i aint have internet access and ape2 yang sewaktu dengannye..

So far soo good for me. the usual daily activities... Moving on,I have a worry and i want to let it out...
Here goes....

I take the train everyday without fail since im schooling or working. I sort of realise nowadays that the amount of elderly people are increasing and its scaring me rite now. I know that one day, if ALLAH prolongs my life, i will like that. Skin wrinkled, slower reaction and heavy breathing. lets face it, have we ever thought that one day, we might not be able to run anymore? that one day, we might be too feeble to carry our own bags? that one day we might be unable to hear what the person beside us is saying?

I am officially not ready for old age.

I can just imagine myself standing in the train with no one giving up their seats and I have to hold on the pole as if my life depends on it. thats y its good to give up your seat to those in need. Because karma does happen rite? Anyway, its scary isnt it?
Look at us now, we are in our teens, our fittest part of our lives.our brainiest part of our lives, our rebellious part of our lives. Just stop, take a minute of your time and think.

Think if we are going to stay this way for all our life. Think that one day, we will grow old, lose our beauty, lose our flexibilty, agility, sight, smell and hearing. Are we not afraid?

It goes back to basics really about prayers and fasting. Our youth is the best solution to doing all those without feeling tired pain or stress. WE can just walk to the nearby mosque without the need of wheelchairs or the help of people. WE can just pray without feeling pain in the joints and muscles. WE can still fast for a month without it feeling like a death sentence.

WE have youth on our side. Use it wisely and widely before it runs out.

*Your youthfullness is your time. The older u get, the lesser time you have. Don't waste it!

ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally...Just finally..My prayers have been answered!!! Yesterday, on the 4/5/08 was a day to remember. Its been too long since i tasted victory and how sweet it felt.

Yup, my soccer team, came in 3rd in the National Street Soccer League for the preliminary round. How fabulous it felt. TO note that for weeks we have been entering tourneys only to be left dissapointed..But yesterday was our day.We flufffed in the semis but once we got our trophy, we know that we have done a great job. Fabulous job to be precise. I can go on and on about every detail but let me just put up the score yarr..hehe...

First round 3-2
Second Round 4-1
Last 16 3-1
Quarters 4-1 (I scored my goal!)
Semis 1-2 (Only defeat)
3rd/4th 4-3

So those were the scores. I was keeper by the way. So it was a wonderful feeling when i got my goal. Alhamdulillah. But overall, we played our hearts out. Emotions ran high, we were shouting at each other but in the end it was forgotten as victory took over...
InsyaALLAH there will be more to come...
